I am quite puzzled by your message about Toussaint Malouin because he would be born about same time as my own Toussaint Malouin who was my great-great-great-grand-father.
However, in my family line, Toussaint Malouin, was married to Josephte Montbriand (Mabrian?) in St-Roch L'Achigan, Quebec, on November 8, 1830.
Toussaint was the son of Joseph Rinfret Malouin and
Thérèse Landreville-Gauthier who
married in Repentigny on February 15, 1802.
Joseph was the son of Joseph Rinfret Malouin and
Marguerite Marsan-Lapierre who
married in L'Assomption (not Anticosti) on Nov. 21, 1768.
Joseph was the son of Jean-Baptiste Rinfret Malouin and
Marie-Josephte Simon who
married in Notre-Dame Parish, Quebec city, Jan. 9, 1736.
Jean-Baptiste was the son of Jean Rinfret's second marriage
with Jeanne Tellier who married in Cap Rouge October 15, 1704.
I noticed that the name RINFRET is probably the real way to spell the name but in the several documents the numerous ways to spell it is amazing such as: Rinfré, Rainfré, Rinfray, Rainfrai, Rinfrai....
Jean Rinfret was the son of Julien Rinfret and
Jeanne Moussard from St-Malo, Bretagne in France.
It is very possible that there were two Toussaint Malouin at about the same time. They are both related but from another "branch of the tree" in the family.
I am working at gathering missing information dates, places, names brothers and sisters that married, as well as historical info in some cases.
Anyway, let me know what you think and to ask me if you need more details that might help.
