Mary, My brother and I visited you once.
William MILLER b 1842 Fayetteville, Brown Co. Ohio, enlisted in the Civil War there on 5 Jan 1862 in Co. I, 60th OVI, same as my William Henry Tucker b 1829.
He enlisted the second time as a substitute for Alcana MARLOTT who was drafted in Clermont Co. O. as a private in Co. F, 51st Reg OVI. His second enlistment "was under the name of William TUCKER, by which name I am sometimes known, as my step-father's name was TUCKER". William TUCKER/MILLER lived in Circleville, Pickaway Co. in 1901 when he applied for a pension. No William TUCKER died there about that time, but several William MILLERs did. I wonder who his mother was.
As Henry TUCKER b ca 1820 and married to Mary Phoebe WAITS (she died before 1860) do you think he could of been the Tucker that md the widow MILLER?
