You're so lucky to have a copy of the book. Maybe you could tell me the story(s) in chapters so it would fit. :-) Or you could email me.

I understand that Polly ended up working for the MaComb family (Detroit area) as a domestic or something. I lived in MaComb (McComb?) County for many, many years. Small world. When I first read the story of Polly and her brother and the Indians on the Internet, I was exploring around to see if I would be able to find any ancestors to start a family tree. The story really grabbed me and I never forgot it. Then when I found my ancestors and was working on the family tree, I learned that Polly's family was connected to the Current family. I was delighted. Then a few weeks ago I found a possible/probable connection from the Malott family to the Current family (Bourbon County, Kentucky).

So, I guess I owe it all to Peter and Polly and am still searching for a copy of "Simon, Peter and Polly."

Thank you for answering me and I'm anxiously waiting to hear the story from you. :-) ~ Pat
