I'm trying to find information on James P. MALONE, born 1868 in Newry, Blair Co. PA, resided in Blair Co. as late as 1860 census, then lived in Pittsburgh by 1900 census until death 1930 or after. Married Ella Grace COVER of Altoona, PA. Children were: Harrison Morton (my ancestor), Sarah J., William J. B., Rosella, Mary F., and Honora L., born between 1888 and 1908.
(Note: according to census records, it looks like there was another James P. Malone born in Blair Co. within a year of my ancestor, which makes it uncertain which records refer to him until after his marriage. Hints in newspaper legal notices suggest that he may be the son of Charles Barromes Malone, but I'm trying to move beyond conjecture.)
Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
