I read your posting regarding Cornelius MALONE (Jr?) of SC. I descend from a daughter that is not listed in your research. Her name is Sarah and she was born in SC on 01/03/1795. Sarah married Elijah WILEY of KY. At this time I do not know the date or location of their marriage. Although WILEY families are in KY at the time of Elijah's birth I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find his parents there. Now I am intrigued by your WYLLY line in SC. I am in the process of obtaining copies of the pension papers for Cornelius (Rev War) and Elijah (War of 1812). I know that Elijah and Sarah are in Morgan County, AL in 1830. Sarah and Elijah's family is listed immediately before Cornelius and wife in the 1840 census of Morgan County. In the 1850 census of Morgan County Cornelius and Drucilla are listed immediately before Sarah and Elijah in Philip Escue's household (his wife is Betsey, Sarah and Elijah's daughter Elizabeth). Additionally, I understand that Elijah was appointed guardian for Cornelius in the later part of his life. I look forward to sharing info with you and others on the MALONE list. Hope to hear from you all soon.
