My name is Timothy Stephan Mallett, and I am related to some Malletts in Guernsey. My father and his father, and I believe his father was name William Mallett, as is my brother (the first born male), and his first son. He said that there was an even longer tradition of first born males being named "Alfred" before the Williams. I believe these are the same Malletts you are inquiring about. My dad's mother's maiden name eludes me but I think was something French sounding.

I was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, my dad was born in Guernsey, his dad was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and his dad was born in Guernsey. I am not sure if my lineage leads to 1066, but I was under the impression it was. Please feel free to contact me at mallett457@yahoo.ca .

Thank you,
Tim Mallett
