Leander Mallett was my great uncle. He was known by his middle name, Monroe. His parents were Howell M. Mallett and Harriet Ann Redding. Their marriage date was 16 December 1870 in Grimes County. They moved from Grimes County to Ochiltree County in 1907. They moved to Sherman County between 1910 and 1920.Siblings were Robert Aldine, William Maxie, B. Ann, Henry Collier, G. Neal, Mattie. Howell and Harriet died in California.
