Just received a call last week from my Great Aunt Anna Mae Swanenburg (nee Malin) wanting to get together to discuss Malin Genealogy. What is so remarkable is that I haven't seen her in probably 25 years or so (I was in high school and had no interest in genealogy), and she will be 93 years ols next month. She knows alot and she is still sharp as a tack. She has photos that are almost 150 years old. She lent me one of Jennie Sloan Dunlap Malin, her grand mother and wife of Julian T. Malin (both born around 1860. Jennie is about 17 on the photo and the photo of Julian "June" T. Malin is when he was about 3 or 4 from the looks of it. I scanned the photos and am making copies. I plan on visiting her as often as possible to gather info. I will post important info as I get it from her. She was born and raised in the Malvern, PA area and has a lot of knowledge about the area. I understand that someone on the site helped her to contact me. Just wanted to thank you for going out of your way. I am very thankful that you did.
