According to the Book "The Story of an Old Farm" by Andrew D Mellick Jr, pub 1889, Peter was the 5th son of David Malick & a Conrad, b 1790 d 9 Aug 1863, m Mary Reeser b1796, d 14 Nov 1872, had 10 ch: Wm m Heilman, Simon P, Hiram, David R, Harriet m Sam Keefer, Maria m Sam Wolf, John R, Peter, Samuel, and Jeremiah. Does this match your info?
