I am looking for marriage records for Jemima Malick, daughter of David Malick from Tenn. and Martha from South Carolina. Jemima Malick was born about 1824 in Indiana. She married a Kelsey and had three children that I know of: Martha Kelsey b 1846, MO; David M. Kelsey b 1848; and Nancy E. 1856, MO, based on 1850 census in Sullivan County, Missouri where she's living with her Daddy. She appears in 1860 in Cooper County, Monetan twp., Missouri with Henderson Bennett. I don't know when they married. They have three more children at this point, Hila E., 8, f, MO., and John S. Bennett, 1854, MO., and Edward H. (possibly Henderson), 1859, MO. I can't find Henderson Bennett in 1850 at all or the marriages to Jemima Malick Kelsey and Dorcas Ann Blackwell. I think he was married first to Mary Maloney in 1846 in Missouri. Does any of this click with anyone? Please email me at sunsetvisions@worldnet.att.net.
