First, all I can say is WOW! I have to sit down and go through all the information that you have given me - I didn't know ANY of that! I am blown away.
I tried to click on your name to email you directly but didn't have any luck. I will gladly correspond with you via email if you just tell me how to get it to you. As for the photo, I would LOVE to have a copy of the photo! Thank you so much!
Okay, maybe this will work. I will go to my account page and change it so my email address isn't blocked and then you should be able to click on my name and email directly to me. Let me know if that doesn't work okay. If it works, then email me as soon as you can (even if it's just to say, "it worked" and then I'll know that I can go ahead and block my email address again.
People probably think I'm paranoid but I don't like to have my email address out there floating around on the internet so I'm really careful with it. I'm glad to see that you are too - it must be those intelligent Irish genes of ours!
I am so excited right now and boy did I need that. My grandfather, on the other side of my family, passed away yesterday. In fact, I'm only online right now because I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd go surfing for a while. I definitly needed something to take my mind off of Grandpa's death and you've certainly done that (at least for the moment anyway). Unfotunately, however, the stress from that and the fact that it is now after 2 AM means that all this information has simply boggled my brain! So, I will have to sort through it all once I get done with the funeral and all that stuff.
I will check my email account tomorrow evening and see if there is anything from you. If you get this, please try to email me right away so I can see if my idea worked and if you're able to get through. Okay? Thanks. I'm anxious to hear from you.
As for my parents, my mother is Sarah Marrie (daughter of Thomas Patrick Marrie, granddaughter of Bridget Malia and Martin James Marrie). My mother was born on Walnut Street in the home of Bridget and Martin Marrie (her father's parents) but once she was a couple of years old they moved to the Greenville area where she remained until I was about 2 or 3 years old. My father is Jack Ellis from Hartstown, PA.
I promise to dig further into all this information in a couple of days and I will answer all the questions in this email once I hear from you directly (and things settle down around here from the funeral). I do know that there are still Lally's floating around town - one name I recall is Tom Lally and I went to high school with Maureen Lally. How strange it is to find out that I had cousins in the same school with me that I wasn't even aware of.
I am so glad to "meet" you Sheila and look forward to corresponding more with you in the near future. Take care and I'll talk to you soon (and thanks again for all the info!).
