Hello Sherry. I noticed a grave marker for a John E. Maley (1867-1931) in a little graveyard in our development. Could this be your John E. Maley? I noticed it because the name is so similar to my own. My grandfather's name was John E. Miley. I wondered if they could have been related somehow. Many of the names you mentioned were the same.....But our family history is well established in South Carolina (yet we don't know where the original Miley came from and the spelling is different). We also have a Robert, David and Henry Miley. John is a very common name in our family. It is my father's my brother's and my son's as well.

I life in Fairfax county, Virginia if that is any help to you.

Melissa
