I just happen to have a little information for you. Robert and Jincy Mail appear on the 1850 census for Chesterfield County, aged 65 and 48, respectively. (That makes Jincy 7 on her wedding day, but maybe the age should have been 58.) The next two visitations are to William R. Traylor, 44, and George Traylor, 51. Back in April 1796, the overseers of the poor for district 4 Chesterfield County bound Robert and Bolling Male, "poor orphans." In October of 1796, the will of Joseph Male was proved and Frederick Male was sworn as executor. My guess is that Frederick, Robert, and Bolling were all sons of this Joseph Male, who died early in 1796. My interest here is that I believe he also had a daughter, Mary Mason Male, who married John Michael, one of my wife's ancestors, on 27 Oct 1808. I'd be interested in anything else you come up with on this family.
