Gentlemrn (and fellow readers),
I'd like to shed further light on the excellent documents that you've provided: Adam KEELING (Sheriff of Norfolk; son of Ensign Thomas KEELING)and wife Anne MARTIN (daughter of John MARTIN) had a daughter Elizabeth. Adam died (about) 25 April 1683 (Lower Norfolk). His widow Anne then married John RICHESON, High Sheriff of Norfolk.

Now you know the relevency of John RICHESON and his wife: if Elizabeth was Adam's daughter, then the RICHESONs were the grandparents of the FINCKLEY children. I do not know Elizabeth KEELING's birthdate, but Adam KEELING was born (about) 1640.

Michael, I'll post this on the KEELING site, too. Thanks for the time and energy you've put into your postings.
