Wongs in Malaysia

Hi all.

Trying to locate other members of my extended family. My branch ended up in Canada at the turn of the 1900's... Another branch (my grandfather's brothers) ended up in Malaysia and the U.S. I am particularly interested in the Malaysian branch of our family...of which my grandmother told me we lost contact almost 50 years ago. I have the name of my grandfather, and the names of his brothers.

Our ancestors originated from Bak Hup (Beihe), Hoy Ping (Hoi ping, Kai Ping) near Check Hum (Chek Hom). I wrote a short piece on my website http:www.generasian.ca on the Canadian side of our family ...and am hoping to reconnect with lost relations.

On the ancestral (generational poem) list, my middle chinese character (ie. name) is Hoy (hai), as are my siblings. Please write to me in English, as I cannot read nor write in Chinese.

Thanks.
