My fathers grandfather was born in Malawi on 6 September 1892 but that is how we far we can trace, does anybody
have information about Pettitt's that moved to live in Malawi (Northern Rhodesia)or Africa in the 1800. As i would
like to trace our ancestors. I heard they came originally from U.K and in Malwai there is a Pettitt House ????. This is also a mystery as my full name is Bismark Pettitt but we only got Bismark as my great
grandfather was orginally a Pettitt but a german family looked after him so out of respect he took there name so that is
why we are Bismark Pettitt.
