My 5 x grandparents John and Grace Makinson came from Horwich They married in 1760 and had 7 children. I can't find a Thomas but I haven't got the descendents of all their children. Have you got Thomas and Ann marrieage certificate or better still his birth certificate as it should give information about his parents. There is a Makinson Lane in Horwich, have you any information about it's history
