Evan came to USA in Nov 1840 with his wife Martha Wain and brother George and wife Sarah Makinson. Evan had one son also named George who died in ILL after living most of his life in LaSalle County. Evan and Martha divorced in Missouri before she and her son moved to Ill in mid 1840's.
Evan was a Methodist Minister and reportedly married again and lived in Michigan awhile before disappearing.
Does anyone have a line on these people.?
