David -
Would you have anything on Jane Makin (p. John Makin and Ann Banks) from Sheffield? She married Edward Primrose and eventually moved to the US. Their daughter Ellen was born in Sheffield on May 5, 1853. Ellen married Aaron French in the US around 1873. The Makins, Primroses, and Frenches may have all originally hailed from the Sheffield/Yorkshire area. The were cutlery workers and brought that skill over here. Any leads appreciated. Regards, Spencer French
