I've been working this line for 10 years and have one road block that is making me INSANE!
I have one John Maker in my family who was from Rehoboth, in the 1733 time frame. I don't have paperwork here, so I'm kind of guessing. In his will, he leaves Cape Cod Lane (in Harwich, I believe) to one of his sons (Charles Maker). NOBODY, not even New England Historic Genealogy Society can figure out where John came from. It's like he just appeared from nowhere! I've spent about $500 on research fees trying to figure this out and just can't seem to have any good luck.
I do have some Cape Cod Maker information, I tried to gather as much as I could in the hopes that I would find a link to John.
It would be a miracle, but if you have anything to share - AWESOME!
