Scot-Irish colony

There is an article posted by the Ulster New Letter that tells of the Colony established in 1609. This was the Scottish Plantation of Ulster. Our ancestors went there & settled in Co. Armagh.
It seems that these people may have been from lowland Scotland and were of the Presbyterian religion as created by the Protestant Reformation.

More can probably be found on the Ulster-Scots sites.
