TWO MORE BITS OF INFORMATION: (1)The 1820 Census lists four possible Makemsons in Kingsessing but they are each spelled differently: George Mcenson on p. 2B (5th listing north of Fort Mifflin); James Mcemson, p. 3A; Henry Mackemson, p. 3B; Matilda M'enson, p. 3B (these last two are neighbors). indexes only "Matilda Menson" - I tried to call up the others using all spellings but failed. (2) George Makemson's wife, Ottilia Rodman, may have had a family member in Kingsessing the same year as their marriage: Phillip Rodman contracted for an indentured servant on 6/30/1773 and the record lists him as being of Kingsessing. There were many other Rodmans in Bensalem Twp., Bucks Co.. Good luck, Os Cresson
