In Reply to: SWEDES' CHURCH LISTING OF MAKAMSON, 1790's by Edwin Makamson of 288

George Mahemson (Mackenson) of Kingsessing, Phila. (near Old Swede's Church), will probated 12/30/1807, mentions wife Otilly, son James, and daughters Jane, Ann, Sarah, and Mary. James and Sarah may be those whose marriage you describe. I am interested in the marriage on 2/21/1761 of Adam Guier of Kingsessing and Jane "Meakson or Mackson" also of Kingsessing who I suspect is Adam's neighbor George's daughter (a witness was Matthew Mackson.) This James Mahemson may be the one in the 1820 census in KY. The 2/8/1791 will of John Hunt of Darby, Chester Co, PA (who had property adjacent to Adam Guier in Kingsessing) mentions Elizabeth Machemson (also spelled Mackemson). Best wishes, Os Cresson
