DARNALL, MARTHA A., P.O. Bainbridge, residence on Section 35; was born October 25, 1829, in this county; daughter of James Makemson, born in Harrison County, Ky., September, 1796, and Leah Catherwood-Makemson, born in Pennsylvania, November 29, 1792; the father settled in this county in 1827, mother in 1828. Married January 16, 1855, in this township, Levi W. Darnall, son of William G. and Amelia Darnall, natives of Kentucky; born in Montgomery County, Ky., April 6, 1824, and came to this county with his parents in 1835, who settled in Monroe Township. There were born to them six children, viz.: James O., born November 20, 1855; Maria C., June 30, 1858, died March 12, 1859; Annie, January 7, 1860; William A., September 9, 1862; Fred, December 22, 1864; Carrie J., September 12, 1867.
Mr. Darnall died December 17, 1877; he had been married before his union with the present Mrs. Darnall, to Martha J. Makemson, by whom he had four children - Milton T. Darnall, of Monroe Township, being the only one alive. Mrs. Darnall is the only living representative of her father's family; her sister, Elizabeth J., wife of James M. Deardruff, dying September 5, 1868. Her father, at time of his death, January 21, 1871, was the owner of 160 acres of well-improved land; his wife, a member of the Presbyterian Church, died March 5, 1873. They were married in Harrison County, Ky., October 21, 1828.

Now, help please.The Martha Jane Makemson mentioned as Levi's first wife is said to be Martha Ann's first cousin.Do you have any information on James' brothers?
