Ulster Maitlands

I'm trying to find any information about the Maitlands who lives in Co Down and who emigrated to the north east England (Durham) around 1844 to work in the pits.

They originated in Comber, Co Down and lived on land owned by Lord Londonderry - who also incidentally owned the Durham coalmines. Has anyone any info. at all - I'm getting desperate for info.
