He fought through the Peninsula War, and commanded the Guards Division at Waterloo when the Imperial Guard was destroyed by his trooops. Governor of Upper Canada, and Cape Province

We've just had a reception (22 October) at the Guards Museum London to celebrate their acquisition of Sir P's Waterloo medal.
