We have started a great newsletter called the Pioneer Settlers of “The Restigouche”.
This is for all the original settlers of the Restigouche River area, both sides, including the Kempt Road area. Family names like Duncan, Ferguson, Busteed, Murray, Firth, Myles, Montgomery, Downs, Mott, Sinclair, Dickson, Calder, Adams, Nichol, Conners, Delaney, Fraser, Gerrard, Wyers, McLeod, Mann, Babcock, Pollock, Barclay, Mair, McLean, Oatman, Stewart, Gregoire, and others.
There will be four issues a year, with historical items, pictures, a query page, contact lists, and much more. The first issue goes in the mail December 1st, and it is already 10 pages.
