The Mainwaring/Mandry family I have come across lived in Foxhole, Lansamlet, near Swansea, throughout the 1800s. Edward (b. c. 1822-1823) married Mary; four children John, Mary, Margaret and David Mainwaring. John (b. 1848-1849) married Ruth Jones in Oct 1871, they had 3 children, Mary Jane (b. 1873), Margaret (b. 17 April 1876) and Edward (b. 1879-1880). Margaret married Bennett Roberts in 1898, but he died a few months later. Margaret remarried 27 years later in Bridgend to my great grandfather Joseph Jenkin Mason.

Is this your Mainwaring family, or another one?
