Hello Jack. Thank you for your information. I do have records per the 1850 census listing all the children and I descend from Josiah.

I do know some information about the civil war records for John, Josiah and I think Levi. I will need to look it up this week. Basically, a cousin found records (they served for the confederacy) reflecting that they were captured in MS and were released at the end of the war. Another contact informed me that John was wounded in the war and eventually died due to his injuries. He was married and his widow moved to Texas and married. I do have those names, I will find them and forward them to you if you are interested.

I never found anything about Jesse Treadway (oldest son of Racheal and Edumond). I assume he died early? Do you know anything?

My line Josiah eventually moved to Arkansas. I understood that Rachael moved with Josiah (I think their first stop was SE TN) and supposely died in southeast TN.

Thank you for the information. Please keep in touch.
