My husband is related to the Mailloux family that you are looking for. I know that this reply is a couple of years late, but I'm just getting around to finding it now. I have been researching his family tree for a few years now and have found a fair amount of information.
According to information that I found at the American Canadian Geneology Society in Manchester, NH, Elie Mailloux's parents are Elie Mailloux and Sara Lavoie married 17 Nov 1857 in S. Agnes, Quebec, Canada. I don't have their birth or death dates. They had four children: Malvina Mailloux married to Joseph Chamberland on 27 Jul 1880 in St. Simeon, Quebec, Canada; Louis Mailloux married to Marie Louise Boies on 05 Jan 1904 in St. Simeon, Quebec, Canada; Elie Mailloux (your Elie that moved from Somerworth, NH to New Britan, CT) married to Laura Hermiline Blanchard on 01 Jul 1900 in Somersworth, Strafford, N.H., U.S.A.; and Lucien Frank Mailloux (my husband's grandfather buried in Somersworth, NH) married to Isola Savard on 23 Jun 1902 in St. Simeon, Quebec, Canada (had one child my husband's father, Joseph Elie Mailloux) and was widowed, then married Aurore Marie Dufour on 10 May 1919 in Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire (she is buried in Somersworth, NH with Lucien).
From census records that I found, Elie lived on Second Street in Somersworth, NH in 1920, and lived in New Britan, CT on the 1930 census. Lucien lived in Somersworth in 1920 and lived in the same home on Second St. in Somersworth on the 1930 census.
"Uncle George Mailloux" according to my record's would be Elie's grandfather and not his uncle. I have a George Mailloux married to Anastasie Dufour on 29 Aug 1837 in I. Coudres, Quebec?, Canada, with children: Elie Mailloux(your Elie's father), Henriette Mailloux, Hermine Mailloux, Aime Mailloux, Georges Mailloux, Xavier Mailloux, Alfred Mailloux, and Pierre Mailloux.
Your Elie does have an Uncle George (his father's brother above)...SORRY ABOUT THAT. The info that I have says that Georges Mailloux married Claudia Demeules on 02 Feb 1886 in Malbaie, Quebec?, Canada.
I have a lot more information on the Mailloux's in Canada from the records at the American Canadian Geneology Society. I could scan them and e-mail them to you if you would like.
Also, I noticed another post of mine that you replied to in 2006 saying that you had pictures of the Mailloux's in New Britan Connecticut. I would love to have copies if you have them. My husband has never met any of these people, but they are definately his relatives.
