The name of the uncle killed in the civil war was George, one of the sons of francis. He appears in the 1850 and 1860 census for champlain n.y.. Under clinton co. military records you will find hin as George Mayo.... That is the name he is buried under in lookout mountain. Believe it or not, i think i have a picture of him in uniform.
