Hi Alfred,
My ggggrandfather was also Francois Mailloux and wife Suzanne Menard. My ancester was their son Francois who married Marie Aunchman. I am very interested in the person who was in the civil war as my great grandmother remembers one of her uncles coming to the house in his blue uniform. I have not been able to locate this man in any records. Have you found him on any records or just family oral history? You say he was killed at Lookout Mountain but go on to say he was married three times. Is this a misprint or a different person? If you would like any information I have on my branch of the family, I would be glad to supply what I have. I would be interested in info on your branch.
