I do not know if Leon (b1822) had any
brothers or sisters.Leon would have
been ten years old when his father died.
If Leon had brothers, perhaps they
could have been the father of your
Joseph.Joseph was certainly a name
that is still in our family, carried
on through the generations.
I hope this is of some use to you -
especially knowing that "Mailloux"
was sometimes known as "Desruisseaux"
in the 1600 & 1700 - and perhaps
earlier.
