Check out Denissen's book "Genealogy of the French Families of the Detroit River Region", published by the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research.
This family was among the very first French families in Ontario. The French sort of jumped from Quebec to the Detroit river. They lived at the "coast of the Hurons", and their local parish was a Jesuit mission to the Hurons.
Children:Joseph, b. 22 January 1766
Jean Baptiste, b, 27 Sept. 1768
Charles, born 13 May 1772 and died next.
Their son Joseph married Genevieve Deshetres. They had 13 children. The Deshetres family spent time in Ft. St. Joseph, near what is now Niles Michigan, in the 1740's.
There is another book, by Lajenuesse, published in 1960, on the Windsor Border Region, that tells you more about this family.
