Leandre, we have done this with the Frego(Frigon)family and have been able to find "missing branches" that left Quebec and went across North America. I'm especially interested in the Maillet's that left Quebec in the 1840's and settled in northern New York. My branch is Adèlade Maillot b@1811 in Quebec. She possibly has a brother Joseph married to a Sophie that were godparents for one of her children and a sister Johana (Jeanne,or Jeanette?) who was a witness to Adelade's marriage to Michel Mousseau on 2 March 1840 in Hogansburg, NY. Any chance that any of these names fit in with your research?
