MAHONEY MIGRATION TO AUSTRALIA

Looking for information on James Mahoney (born in 1828 at Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland) who married, in 1853, Mary Ann Nolan (born 1831 in London,England). The couple sailed from Southampton on September 20 1856 on board the New Great Britain, arriving in New South Wales in January of 1857.
They settled in Ipswich, Queensland, at a homestead known as Woodbine on Stephenson Street at Sadler's Crossing.
I have information that James Mahoney operated a pub in an establishment known as Mahoney's Inn.
They had eleven children of which two were miscarriages, one son who died at age 11, another son who died at age 3, leaving 7 children who survived into adulthood.
I am seeking more information on the Mahoney and Nolan families, particularly earlier history on their parents (John Mahoney and Mary Savage) and information on how the couple came together to marry prior to migrating to Australia.
The couple had a daughter, Alice Britain Mahoney, who was born on the ship en route to New South Wales on November 8 of 1856. She married Joseph James Parker on July 19 1882 at the age of 25. The date of her death is not known.
