I am almost certain my gg grandfather was Patrick Mahon,who married Honor Frances Conell and lived in Cashel.So far, I have only traced two children: Thomas,my g. grandfather,born 24th Jan 1828 and Eugene, born 19th August 1834. There are lacunae in my knowledge here . David, you have much more info than I have.Thomas married Mary McNabola.They had seven children I can trace -Thomas( born 1862),Mary Anne(1863)John (1865),Owen (1867),Denis (1869),Bernard (1871),William (1873) This Thomas(1862)married Mary Anne Bohan in 1903 They also had seven children ,one of whom was my father John William.All these Mahons were born and lived, for some time, in Cashel as I was and did.The last Mahon family to there was my fathers .We left about 1955.I have been trying to follow my grandfathers siblings and his wife Mary Anne's family with some success.Claudia and David you have done extensive work on the earlier period ,in particular,and it would be great if we could share.Claudia, I am certain if we persist we will find for certain the Mahon from Cashel who is your ancestor.I look forward to hearing from you both.
