Sadly, I am unable to confirm or deny any connection to your family line. I have so little reliable information of my Mahon family back in Ireland other than the names of my gr. grandmother's parents and her sister who also came out to Australia and also the fact that she came from Cashel Mohil. It is all so frustrating!!! How I would love to be able to make that connection with a family in Ireland. I need to be able to find a family with the father as Thomas Mahon and mother Mary Ann Donnigan/Donegan who had at least 2 girls named Catherine and Maria who came to Australia. At this stage I am not sure if I have the correct names for their siblings. If we could ever prove that we have the same family I would be delighted.
