I was referred to this site by John Van Essen, who I found out this morning is my third cousin. My great grandfather is Samuel. My grandfather was George Milton Mahan born in Duluth, December 1, 1894. He was known as Milton or Milt. The Chrissie named as a surviving child should be Chrissie STAUBER. I am still in contact with her grandchildren in Arizona and California. Her three sons, Frank, Howard, and Loren are all deceased. My mother Vivian Mahan Bradley was named after James Vivian, the husband of the other surviving sister. John has done considerable more research than I, as I have just started. However, I am very interested in communicating with any relatives and passing along any information that I can remember. What a thrill to find relatives that I was not aware of.
