I have no information on your William Mahaney, however, I looking for a later Mahaney. Could any of your Mahaneys have been a civil war veteran who lived in Kentucky/Tennessee after the war? I looking for an Elviria Mahaney, b. 10/9/1834, d. 2/14/1900 who is buried in the Akersville, KY cemetery. I believe that Mahaney is her married name. She would be the mother or grandmother of the William Mahaney I'm trying to follow. His son William Frances Mahaney is the father of my mother-in-law. Help, please.
