Greetings.

My Mahaney line goes back to William , brother of Jeremiah. His father was John Mahaney I believe, and John Mahaney's father was the William Mahaney b abt 1746. We are related, but can't seem to find anything about William b. 1746. I looked at immigration records for him, and found a William Mahany who, in 1762, married a Catherine Woodstock in England: St. John of Wapping Parish, Middlesex County, Tower Hamlets Borough. Not sure if this is the correct William Mahany (Mahaney) or not, but 1762 would be about marrying age if it is him.

My grandfather was Roscoe Russell Mahaney, and His father was William Arthur Mahaney, from Calhoun, Richie WV area.
