Basil Mahana (Mahaney?)

I'm descended from Eliza Mahanna who married Joseph Eberhart in MD in the 1830s. Eliza was born app 1814. While I have her listed on a record as Mahanna therre were very few, in fact practically no Mahanna/Mahanas in Baltimore in that time period. She is supposed to have been born there. The only other Mahana I see in the census in 1850 is Basil.

Basil was a shoemaker, like some Mahannas of Carroll County at the time. He was born app 1809 and died between 1860 and 1870.

I am trying to locate Eliza, and suspect she was related to some Mahaneys who lived near Eberharts. I also suspect she could have been the sister of Basil.

My question---does anyone have a record of these people? I am trying to find out if Eliza was related to John Mahaney of Baltimore and also Basil.

Eliza's descendants go by the names Eberhart, Swan, Vogelgesang, and Randall (for which I have information).
I descend from Mahanna--Eberhart--Swan--Randall.
Please, if you can, help me connect her to another Mahanna/Mahaney family.
