Greetings from another Texan !!!

My GG/F was also a BENJAMIN MAHANAY (MORGAN was middle name). His father was OLIVER PERRY MAHANAY, mother, ELIZABETH (MORGAN) MAHANAY.

OLIVER's father was BENJAMIN, mother CLARA. I have an OLD photo of CLARA, b. 1797/98. Could this have been your CLARISSA ?

My MAHANAYs also came to Texas from Missouri in the 1870s period. BMM married my GG/M MARTHA ANN SPAULDING in MO.

I have no information re: the elder MAHANAY's imigration. BRENDA MAHANEY of the UK contacted me in JUNE-99 with a promise of coming info. related to MAHANEY migrations to the states, but so far, nada..nothing.

I tried to get back to her last night at >>, but got a return/not deliverable message.

If you think they are "on track", I will be glad to make copies of BMF and MASM photos, along with the one of CLARA for you.

Be in touch. Louie F.Turner/Fort Worth.
