The only "note" I have on William Mahaney is that he was killed at the Battle of Brandywine and his widow spent that terrible winter at Valley Forge living in a log cabin with her 4 small boys.

My great grandfather was William Henry Mahaney, son of Thomas Mahaney and Mary Ellen Hunter. I had Thomas' mother's name as Susanna Shroeder, born 1-25-1779. Please tell me if this spelling is incorrect (and the date of birth?) thanks.
