Hello there! My ggggrandmother was Dolly Jane Mahaney.
Ezra A. Mahaney was born Dec 29, 1816 at Page County Virginia, d. March 18, 1879 at Jasper Co. Illlinois. He married Ann Eliza Dovel b. November 5, 1821 at Page County, Virginia d. April 6, 1872 at Jasper Co. Illinois. Ezra is buried at Trexler Cemetery.

Ann Eliza Dovel had a brother John M. Dovel whose grave stone is near Ann and Ezras. John was born in 1831 and died April 21, 1900 at the age of 69 yrs. 3 mos 17 days.
Also nearby is a grave stone "Elizabeth O. Dovel", daughter of E & M. Lambird and wife of G.B. Dovel. Elizabeth was born in March 1864 and died in September 1912. Because of the relative ages, we assume G.B. Dovel was the son of John M. Dovel (Ann Elizas brother). Ann Eliza Dovel was killed in a tornado and is buried at Trexler Cemetery, Jasper Co. Illinois.
Ezra and Ann's children were:
Mary Elizabeth
Peter Sullivan b. 1843
Joel Jeremiah - died in infancy (twin)
Jacob Zachariah -died in infancy (twin)
Andrew Jackson - b. March 7, 1848
George Saul - disappeared when he was 21
John H. - b. 1850
Dolly Jane - b. October 19, 1860 at Indiana, d. April 18, 1943 at Tacoma Washington. She was buried at Spanway Washington at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery but also has a headstone at Trexler Cemetery, Jasper Co. Illinois. Email me!
I have a story written out about the tornado that killed Ann Eliza Dovel, if you are interested.
