I appreciate the note about Nathaniel Truman's death and now that you mention it, I have seen that I missed that in your original post. My bad.
As for the familial ties between the Magruder's and Beall's, I am not dead-set on anything but the name Sarah for Samuel's wife, myself. I have been reading your posts about the Mills connection with interest, actually.
To be sure, there was a connection between the Magruder's and Beall's all the way back to Alexander, hence the mention in the will; but I agree that does not prove Sarah's family tie. By the way, I have heard mentioned that Sarah was "proven(?)" not to be Sarah Beall? I have not seen anything nearing a "proof" on that myself but would greatly appreciate if you could point me in that direction.
