Don't place any weight to the fact that Nathaniel Truman didn't join the other two overseers: he died 4 Mar 1677/78 (after Alexander wrote his will and before it was proved).
Also, the overseers could have been looking out for all the children-- perhaps they didn't consider Elizabeth financially competent to look after the estate. I truely do not think there is a familial connection between Sarah and Ninian Beall. He left quite a few deeds of gifts to various children and named his children in his will. Sarah was certainly still alive at the time he wrote it. Its impossible to know for sure but I think I've made a fair case for Sarah being the daughter of William Mills. Peter
