Welcome to the Magowne Forum which I have set up for the descendants of our earliest known ancestor, William Magowne, Sr. (c.1708-c.1782) of St. Mary's Co., Maryland and Tyrrell Co., North Carolina. William was the ancestor of the McGowan / McGowen family in NorthEastern NC, White Co., Tennessee and points West, including Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky and Saline Co., IL.
