I have an old photo of a lday that is named on the back of the photo as Mrs. Mattie Maginniss. It also states that she is the aunt of Mrs. J. W. Gibson.
1) Mrs. J. W. Gibson is my great-aunt. Her name is Lula A. Sheppard Gibson m. John Walter Gibson, Jr.
2) Lula's mother is Lydia Maginniss Sheppard. Lydia had 3 brothers, Nathaniel S. Maginniss, Thomas James Maginniss, and Solomon Sharp Maginniss as well as a sister Marth Jemima Sharp Maginniss.
4) The photo also has a date written on it "1930 - 70 years ago". I believe this was wirten by Lula's niece (my grandmother).
5) I conclude that Mrs. Mattie Maginniss is married to one of Lydia's brothers. My question is, which one? Does anyone know?
