Hi John, My Magills come from Laracor in the Diocese of Meath (a county neighbouring Louth). I am interested to know whether or not they are cousins of your ancestors. My g.g.g.grandfather was Richard Magill and his children were James, born 1792; Richard, born 1794; Mary Anne (my ancestor), born 1796, died March 1896 in Bradford, Yorkshire; Christian, born 1799 and Elizabeth, born 1800.
If even the naming pattern seems familiar, I would like to hear from you.
Margaret (New Zealand)
